Instruction! System damage due to freezing.

When the heating system is not working, it can freeze in cold weather. The electronic control prevents the

heating system from freezing by starting the circulation pump in forced operation mode at temperatures below

5°C.

•

Protect the heating system against freezing by not disconnecting it from power supply.

•

If possible, leave the heating system permanently switched on.

Temporary boiler decommission

•

Clean the boiler and empty the ash drawer.

•

Shut the door to the ash drawer.

Long-term boiler decommission

For long-term boiler decommission (e.g. at the end of the heating period) thoroughly clean the boiler to

prevent corrosion.

Emergency boiler decommission

If there is danger of explosion, fire, combustion of gases or vapours, you can extinguish the burning process

with water. End the combustion process with the start/stop button. Do not unplug from power supply.

Avoid condensation and formation of tar

At too low heating power condensation on heating surfaces can be formed.
The condensate flows down into the ash drawer.

•

Check the thermometer / pressure gauge whether during operation boiler water temperature remains

above 65º C.

•

Heat the boiler repeatedly. By forming soot deposits in normal mode of operation the danger of conden-

sation is decreased.

Dew point of combustion products is 65ºC and therefore the temperature of the products of combustion on

heating surfaces must not fall below 65ºC. If condensation forms in the burning chamber, this indicates a very

high water content in the fuel (wet fuel). In such cases condensation may form even at boiler water temper-

atures over 65ºC. Tar is formed under similar conditions (low heating power, low temperature) and further

more at wrong combustion setting - too little oxygen.

Tar may be removed only in hot state, for this purpose proceed as follows:

•

It is best to heat the boiler with softwood.

•

When a temperature of around 90ºС is reached

•

Remove the tar from the floor and the heating surfaces by the cleaning spade.

Boiler Inspection and Maintenance

Why is regular maintenance important?

These are the reasons why a regular maintenance of the heating installations is required:

•

To keep a high energy conversion efficiency and to ensure an economic functioning of the heating in-

stallation (low fuel consumption);

•

Ensuring a high operational safety;

•

Ensuring a high ecological combustion;

Offer Your client an annual contract for revision and maintenance. Use original spare parts only.

Checking the operating pressure of the heating system

The red arrow of the pressure gauge must be set to the required operating pressure. Set an operating pressure

of at least 1 bar. Check the working pressure of the heating installation. If the manometer pointer is under the

red pointer, then the working pressure is too low. Water must be added.
Instruction!!! Installation malfunctions due to frequent water adding.

When a frequent water addition is performed, depending on the condition of the water, the heating installa-

tion can be damaged due to corrosion and limestone accumulation.

•

Ensure that the heating installation is air tight;

•

Check the insulation of the heating installation and the capability of the enlarging pot;

•

Installation malfunctions due to tension in the material from to temperature differences.

•

Fill the heating installation in a cold state only (the incoming temperature must not be exceeding 40º С).

•

Add water through the loading and unloading valve.

•

Air tight the heating installation.

•

Check the working pressure again.

Thermal safety of the flow check

The thermal safety guard of the flow ensures a safe functioning of the heating boiler in case of system failure

if the system cannot lead the heat of the heating boiler out by itself. A malfunction may occur, for example,

in case of a frozen heating system, water circulation failure etc. For proper functioning of the thermal safety

guard a sufficient pressure and cooling water are required. Pressure of at least 2 bar and a 11 l/min water debit

is required.
