For the most part, the postoperative procedures will remain
consistent with those practiced for the open harvest
technique.
Suggestions
Care must be taken when handling the 7 mm Endoscope;
these endoscopes are longer and more fragile than shorter
or larger-diameter endoscopes. It is recommended that the
endoscopes be kept in the instrument tray available through
MAQUET Cardiovascular. More detailed instructions can be
found in the Instructions For Use.
Create a VASOVIEW system supply cart. Keep all related
supplies on the cart, including back-up kit components. It is
easy for something to fall on the floor or become contami-
nated.
Designate someone to restock the cart.
Consider making one person the resident expert with the
VASOVIEW system.
