Dehnspannfutter HydroChuck / Hydraulic chuck HydroChuck
Caution
Minimum clamping depth in the hydraulic chuck is not
observed.
If the minimum clamping depth is not respected, the permissible
transferable torque will be reduced and the hydraulic chuck may
break.
Comply with the values for minimum clamping depth as per "Table
1: Minimum number of turns, minimum clamping depth and
permissible transferable torque".
Caution
The radial or axial tool length setting screw is tightened with the
wrong screwdriver.
Tightening the tool length setting screw with the wrong screwdriver
will result in damage to the tool length setting screw.
Use only a hex wrench with T-key to tighten the tool length setting
screw.
Caution
Tool length adjustment with the tool clamped.
Performing an axial or radial tool length adjustment while the tool is
clamped will result in damage to the hydraulic chuck.
Do not perform a tool length adjustment while the tool is clamped.
HINWEIS
The hex-wrench with T-key is not
included in the delivery. More
information can be found in chapter
3.1.
HINWEIS
The operation of the hydraulic chuck
is possible at both ends.
3. Adjust the tool length in the hydraulic chuck
by turning the axial tool length setting screw
with the aid of a suitable hex-wrench with T-
key (see "Figure 6: Adjusting tool").

Warning
Inadequate clamping to the stop and non-compliance with the
minimum revolutions
may cause the tool to be released at high projectile speeds, which
can cause serious injuries.
During clamping, always screw in the clamping screw to the stop
in compliance with the minimum revolutions (see section "3.2
Technical data").
