5.2 Safety devices
The equipment is provided with several protective and safety devices which must not be
tampered with under any circumstances.
In the event of failure or malfunctions, please contact the Technical Assistance.
- Key selector switch against unauthorised operations
- Emergency stop button (red mushroom)
- Circuit breaker for the protection of the electric system
- PMF thermal control device
- Equipment compartment overtemperature control device
- Handpiece overtemperature control device
- Automatic recognition of connected handpieces
- Shielding device for PMFs with stochastic resonance
- Electronic vacuum sensors
- Temperature control with forced ventilation grilles
- Audible and visual alarms for the detection of malfunctions
- Roller anti-lock device
- Handpiece connector mechanical locking device
- Equipment front-wheel brake system
5.3 Pictograms
On the equipment, near the main switch and on the handpiece holder, you will find some
pictograms displaying the safety requirements, as well as the CE marking. If the stickers become
illegible they must be replaced.
