– In stop state, when you press PLAY, the recorder en-
ters sequence playback mode.
Notes:
For the disc protection, before you press OPEN/CLOSE
to eject the disc tray when playing, please pressSTOP at
first. After taking out the disc, press OPEN/CLOSE again
to close the tray.
If you’re not going to use the recorder for a long time, be
sure to remove the electronic plug.
Title Play (compatible with DVD discs only)
– Press TITLE key to display the DVD title content.
– Press the UP/DOWN/LEFT/DOWN key to highlight
the title you want to choose, and press ENTER; also
you can press digit key to choose directly.
– The DHR recorder begins with the chapter 1 of the
chosen title.
Sequence Play (compatible with DVD, SVCD,
VCD, CD, CD+G, HD-CD, DTS-CD,WMA, MP3/
JPEG,BMP,GIF, MP4 discs)
– When a SVCD or VCD disc is loaded and PBC is on,
once PBC key is pressed, PBC switches off and then
the recorder can play in sequence playback mode;
one more PBC key press switches PBC on.
– In the stop state, when you press PLAY key, the re-
corder then enters sequenceplayback mode. This
feature is effective to all the compatible discs.
Program Play (compatible with DVD, SVCD,
VCD, CD, CD+G, HD-CD, DTS-CD,WMA, MP3/
JPEG,BMP,GIF, MP4 discs)
The Program Playback option allows you to enter the
order in which you want chapters or tracks to play, maxi-
mum to 16.
Program Menu
:
DVD, WMA, MP3/JPEG, BMP, GIF, MP4 discs:
SVCD, VCD, CD, CD+G, HD-CD, DTS-CD discs:
– If PBC is on, this operation will turn PBC off while the
chapters/tracks play in programmed order.
According to the highlight, use the digit keys to enter
the chapter/track numbers in order you want them to play.
Then press PLAY key or use UP/DOWN/LEFT/RIGHT key
to highlight the “PLAY” item and press ENTER, the selec-
ted chapters/tracks will play in the programmed order.
– You can program maximum 16 titles/chapters/tracks.
According to the direction indicator on the menu, you
can pressUP/DOWN/LEFT/DOWN keys to highlight where
you want to enter.
During Program Playback, if PROGRAM key is pressed,
the programmed order and the contents will be displayed
on the screen, and the Program Playback will be stopped;
also you can press STOP and PLAY to resume sequence
playback.
Notes:
l To clear the programmed order, use UP DOWN/LEFT/
DOWN keys to highlight the
“CLEAR” item, then press ENTER.l To modify the pro-
grammed order, use UP/DOWN/LEFT/DOWN keys to hi-
ghlight the modifying item and enter the new chapter/track
you want to program directly.
Meanwhile, the program indicator (PROG) in the VFD
illuminates, and the playing chapter/track also illuminates.
Playing Other Multimedia Discs
After placing a disc into the tray or connecting with a
USB device (where the supported files are saved: MP3/
WMA/CD/VCD/SVCD/DVD/MP4/JPEG, BMP, GIF, etc.),
the recorder will auto search the directories saving WMA,
MP3/JPEG, BMP, GIF, MP4 files. After searching, it will
auto go to the first directory saving MP3 files (to the disc
containing both mp3 and jpeg files; to the disc containing
single type of files, it will auto go to the first directory) and
play the first song in the directory (“01:” is highlighted). The
screen displays as the picture below:
