Play and Edit Files in HDD
Play Files in HDD
In HDD Title List interface, the four supported types of
multimedia file folder are displayed. · Video – DVD+VR Vi-
deo file · MPEG4 – AVI Video file · Audio – MP3/WMA
Audio file · Picture – JPG/BMP/GIF Image file The files on
HDD are stored into different folder according to their for-
mat. The extended/selected folder will be highlighted with
a yellow rectangle. For example, if you want to play a Video
file, highlight the Video folder, six thumbnails for this format
will appear on the right side. Then you can ENTER any of
them to play.
It is the same way to display MPEG4, Audio and Picture
files. But for Audio, only text information can be listed for
preview.
If the files in current folder cannot be list in one page, you
can switch pages by pressing the PREV or NEXT key
Edit Files in HDD
This DHR (DVD-P+HDD+USB) system supports three
edit operations to the files on HDD: Rename, Delete and
Copy. Rename and Delete operations will be introduced as
following; and Copy operation is described in section 4.3 .
Rename
Select a file and press the EDIT key, the system will
prompt a dialog box as below.
Select Rename and then rename the selected file in the
following interface.
Highlight OK and then press ENTER to finish this ope-
ration.
Delete
Select a file and press EDIT key, the system will prompt
a dialog box as below. Select Delete and then following the
on-screen prompts to finish this operation.
DVD/USB Mode Switch and Recording
DVD/USB Mode Switch
Press FUNCTION key (IR202 VS.P-SACAN) to switch
DVD mode to USB mode.If the system is the very first time
to connect a USB device, it needs to scan some system
information on USB. After system scan, the screen will be
displayed as following.
Press the MEDIUM SWITCH key again; the system will
enter into DVD mode with the following screen display.
Once the system enters into DVD mode, the disc in the
tray will be played automatically. If there is no disc, the “NO
DISC” message will be shown.
Record to USB Device
There are three methods for you to record video/audio
files to a USB device with MEGP4 format only.
Tip: The following recording operations can also be
done through the System Menu.
Method 1: By the WIZARD Key on Remote Controller
WIZARD leads you to complete recording function with
easy operations. Please refer to WIZARD description be-
fore.
Method 2: By the TIMER key on Remote Controller
Schedule recording by the TIMER key on remote con-
troller. Please refer to the descriptions about [Timer REC]
in [SYSTEM MENU] for more detail operations.
Method 3:By the RECORD key on Remote Controller
1. Press SOURCE on the remote controller to select a
signal source.
2. Press QUALITY to select a record quality. (Default:
SP.)
3. Press RECORD to start recording, “REC” message
will appear on OSD as shown below.
4. Press STOP to stop the recording. “REC STOP” will
appear on OSD
The recording will sure be stopped after a while.
5. Press PAUSE key will pause the recording and you
can press it again or press RECORD to continue.
Copy to USB Device
The DHR (DVD-P+HDD+USB) system capacitates for
copying file from HDD/DISC into USB device and saving
them to corresponding folders according to their formats:
AVI, MP3,JPEG, etc.
DISC USB
1. DISC COPY function is only available under the DVD
MODE.
2. Select the file to copy and then press the EDIT/
