Channel Auto Tuning
When finished, press the ENTER key on the remote to
confirm your setup.
Date and Time Setup
For Timer Recording, date and time should be correct.
Since “Power off” may effect date and time settings, you
should re-set them. The following just is a procedure.
(Also, you can set them by the Initial Setup item mentio-
ned above.)
Date Set
Press SYSTEM MENU to bring out the System Menu,
highlight the Setup item, and then press ENTER.
In the Setup menu, highlight the System item to select
the Date Set item by LEFT/DOWN, and then press ENTER
to modify the date setting.
Input digits for each section (MM:DD:YY).
Time Set
In the Setup menu, highlight the System item to select
the Time Set item by LEFT/DOWN, and then press EN-
TER to modify the time setting.
Input digits for each section (Hr:Min:A/P).
TV Tuner Setup
The recorder provides an Auto Tuning function that can
search TV channels automatically and save them in the
recorder with a certain order. However, this Auto Tuning
function should be run again if the TV channel distribution
is changed by channel providers or the recorder is re-in-
stalled.
To setup TV Tuner,
1. Check if the recorder is connected with antenna.
2. Turn on TV and the recorder.
3. Press SYSTEM MENU on the remote to bring out the
following menu, then press LEFT/RIGHT to select
the Setup item, next press ENTER.
4. Press DOWN to select the TV Tuner item, and then
press RIGHT to extend it.
5. Select the TV Signal item, then press RIGHT to
choose a TV signal input source (from Antenna or
Cable), next, press ENTER to confirm your selec-
tion. Tip that pressing LEFT can save the setting and
return to the previous menu.
