Topping up the oil

Prerequisites – The truck crane must be level.
– The engine must be switched off and secured against unauthorised use;

Topping up the oil
•
Add oil through the filler neck ( 2 ) up to the
max. mark.
•
Close the filler neck with the cap.
•
Put the dipstick ( 1 ) into the dipstick tube
after checking the oil level.

Risk of damage to the engine if the oil level is too high.
Do not overfill; the oil level must not be higher than the max. mark (arrow
marking). Drain off oil if necessary;

400 °C (750 °F). Wear appropriate protective gloves and be careful not to
come into contact with hot parts.
