Drain tap
Before the oil change – open the valve
•
Open the lock ( 1 ) with the key and remove it.
•
Open the valve – lever ( 2 ) parallel to the line.
The oil change valve ( 3 ) prevents oil from
escaping uncontrollably.
After the oil change – close the valve
•
Close the valve– lever ( 2 ) at right angles to
the line.
•
Fit the opened lock ( 1 ) and press it together –
the lever ( 2 ) on the valve is now locked in
position.
•
Return the key to the storage location
(driver's cab or toolbox) so that it is always
available.

Risk of damage to the angle gear!
If the drain tap remains open after changing the oil, the oil circuit will be
interrupted and the upper bearing will not be adequately supplied with oil.
This can lead to malfunctions and transmission damage.
The drain tap must always remain closed and secured with the lock during
driving and crane operation.
You only need to open the drain tap to drain the oil during an oil change.
After this, you must restore the normal operating condition by closing the
drain tap and securing it with the lock.
