11. Do not use the appliance within the reach of children. Secure the power cord
and make sure that it cannot be pulled on inadvertently, causing the appliance to
fall down onto the floor.
12. To operate the appliance, it must be placed on a dry and level surface.
13. The steriliser should only be used to sterilise baby bottles or their accessories, and
boil-proof products (please also read the respective instruction manuals for each
product).
14. Never fill the unit completely with water. Never immerse the appliance in water and
do not wash the steriliser body in the dishwasher. Clean the unit with a damp cloth
and a little detergent only.
15. The unit must be regularly descaled.
16. Only use tap water to operate.
17. Never operate without water and do not move the unit while it is in use.
18. Please do not put other appliances into the steriliser.

Warning:
The unit’s surfaces get very hot while it is operating and can cause
burns. Please only touch the surfaces after the cooling period or use the handles
provided for that purpose and the switch.

Warning:
When in use steam escapes through the vent in the lid. Please be ca-
reful, this steam can be very hot and can cause burns. Please do not block this
vent or cover it with a cloth. Please also be careful on opening the steriliser as hot
steam may escape which can cause burns. Never open the appliance whilst it is in
use. Sterilised bottles or accessories are also very hot immediately after sterilisati-
on and should be left to cool for at least 5 minutes before removing.
21. Some condensation always remains in the unit. Please empty this water out after
unloading. Be careful, this residual water can also be hot.
22. The steriliser requires a cooling time of approx. 15 minutes before it can be reused.
23. If the unit is not being used, please always remove the plug from the socket so that
it cannot be switched on accidentally. Pour the water out and dry all parts.
24. Check the steriliser each time before use and only use it if the appliance and power
cord are intact. At the first sign of any damage, the component in question must
be either disposed of or repaired.
25. The appliance may only be opened by an authorised service centre. Otherwise the
warranty is invalidated. Repairs may only be performed by specialised personnel.
Improper repairs can present considerable safety hazards for users. This also ap-
plies to the replacement of the power cord.
26. Always keep the instruction manual in a safe place.
Before using your Steriliser for the first time:
•
Lift off the upper basket and remove the bottle basket from the Steriliser.
•
Please wash both baskets and the lid carefully with a mild detergent.
•
Dry all parts well.
•
Measure out exactly 130ml of tap water and pour into the Steriliser body. To measure the exact amount, use a baby bottle
or a measuring jug.
•
First of all, place the bottle basket into the unit, then place the upper basket on top. Make sure that the upper basket is
sitting directly on the Steriliser body and that the upper basket’s lid is tightly sealed.
•
Now insert the plug into the socket.
•
Switch the on/off button to ‘on’ (the light should go on) to start the sterilising cycle.
