TROUBLESHOOTING
Before you send out the heater for repairing please check the following points first, they are not faults:
Problem
Cause
Smell, smoke or sparking when using first time.
This is quite normal and is caused by dust. It will soon
stop.
Emission of white smoke, abnormal noise and/or
smell when using for first time, or after fuel stop.
Air in the fuel line. This will cease when the air is
pressed out.
Strange sound when igniting or after extinguishing
The metal parts on the machine expand/contract.
This is quite normal.
Flames or sparks through the outlet during ignition.
Fuel left in the oil line, which produces unsuitable
fuel/air mixture and therefore irregular combustion.
Sparks are caused by fragments of soot. This is quite
normal.
