SAFETY BUTTON TO OPEN THE LID
Press this button while turning the lid counterclockwise.
If there is still pressure inside the pot, the security system will block the button,
therefore the pot lid cannot be opened until there is pressure inside and the safety
button is unlocked.
Read the instructions on the labels attached to the lid carefully!
PRESSURE VALVE
It must remain in the “Sealing” position during the use of programs that require
pressure to cook.
• At the end of the program, it must be placed in the “Venting” position (open) so that
the steam produced inside the pot can escape during cooking and depressurize it
before opening the lid.
• Be very careful with very hot steam coming out of the valve.
• It is highly recommended to use kitchen gloves to handle the valve and the bowl at
the end of cooking as they can reach very high temperatures.
