The 1-port 33.6K frequency-band MODEM supports sync or async mode. It
can work in private line or dialup line mode. The modem can serve as the
caller and callee. In sync mode, the clock mode includes internal clock,
external clock and sub clock; the async mode includes direct async, buffer
async, and error async.
