Read Through Before Lighting or Operating

CAUTION: Should the pilot flame ever be
found to have gone out, press the OFF button
and wait at least 5 minutes for any
residual gas to dissipate before relighting the
pilot.
1. Ensure that the gas and water supplies are
turned ON, that all domestic hot water taps
are turned OFF.
2. Fully depress and hold the ON button
and repeatedly press and release the IGN
button
until the pilot is lit. The pilot flame
can be observed through the pilot viewing
window.
3. Hold the ON button in for a further 10
seconds after the pilot is lit, then release. If
the pilot goes out, repeat the lighting
operation keeping the ON button
depressed a little longer.
•
Once the pilot is lit and the appliance is in
the working position, hot water will be
obtained by turning on any of the hot taps.
Obtain Hot Water
•
If the heater is in regular use the pilot may
be left alight.
•
If the heater is not going to be used for
long periods press the OFF button .
The gas supply to both the pilot and main
burner will now be shut off.
•
Check through the pilot viewing window
that the pilot flame is extinguished.
