Troubleshoo ng
Fault Cause Remedy
The grinder is
humming but not
grinding.
• The outlet is
clogged.

Set the grinding degree
se ng to “10” and start the
grinding process. The grinder
will grind itself clear. Then set
the grinding degree se ng to
the desired grinding degree
during opera on.
• Ground coff ee
has built up in the
grinder because of
two much coff ee
in the portafi lter.

Clean the outlet from the
outside with the brush whilst
the grinder is switched off . Set
the grinding degree adjustor
to “8” and start the grinding
process. The grinder will grind
itself clear. Then set the grind-
ing degree to the desired
se ng during opera on.
• The grinding de-
gree is too fi ne.

