2. To select the double-shot mode, briefl y press the “Double Shot” pre-se-
lec on bu on (10.1) for the le grinder and the pre-selec on bu on
(10.2) for the right grinder.
3. To select the barista mode, briefl y press both pre-selec on bu ons (9.1)
and (9.2) for the le grinder and the pre-selec on bu ons (10.1) and
(10.2) for the right grinder.
Grinding the espresso beans
1. To select the correct grinder, press the corresponding pre-selec on
bu on (9.1 or 10.1) for the le grinder and (9.2 or 10.2) for the right
grinder.
2. Insert the portafi lter between the portafi lter moun ng (12) and the
portafi lter support (15) . The grinding starts automa cally.
If you have selected the barista mode, specify the grinding me
manually. The grinding ends automa cally in single-shot and
double-shot mode once the set grinding me is fi nished.
Interrup ng grinding (break func on)
The break func on automa cally suspends grinding when you remove the
portafi lter from the portafi lter moun ng (12) and con nues grinding when
you insert the portafi lter into the portafi lter moun ng again and trigger the
start bu on (14) .
1. Remove the portafi lter from the portafi lter moun ng during grinding to
interrupt grinding and stop the grinding me. The led and the symbol for
the remaining grinding me fl ashes.
2. Reinsert the portafi lter between the portafi lter moun ng and the porta-
fi lter support (15) before the abort me elapses.
3. The suspended grinding process is con nued automa cally un l the
grinding me has elapsed.
If you do not want to con nue grinding, press one of the two
Pre-selec on bu on (9.1 / 9.2) or (10.1 / 10.2). The display
jumps to the selected mode and the stopped me is deleted.
