3.6: Adjustments

Y-axis Alignment for Printer Card Handoff

1. Y-axis is aligned such that when the card has come out of the printer, it should depress

the aluminum rail .04”-.06” towards the direction shown in picture below.

2. This ensures that the spring loaded rail pushes the card straight on the XY clamp rail.
3. Parameter that controls this distance is

PrinterHandoffAdjustmentY:

When this

parameter is increased the XY clamp will move in closer to the spring loaded aluminum
rail (refer to the next section for detailed instructions).

4. Adjust the parameter until, the card is in the position as shown below, the card clamp

guide rail pushes the aluminum rail depressing the spring loaded balls and forcing the
card straight to line up with the card clamp guide rail.
