6-3. Aborting Operation
The display and preset data are saved automatically.
Therefore, data is retained even after power is turned off or in case of a temporary power outage.
6-3-1. Pausing Operation

Lock the machine.
Note
Be sure that the machine is locked. If the machine is not locked, an accurate display value may not be
retained.

Press the
key.
The power is turned off, and the data is automatically saved.
Note
If the machine table is moved after the power is off, the displacement is not detected. In this case, be
aware that the current position after moving the machine table will not match the saved data.

Perform the procedure in Part 6-2, “Starting Operation”.

Unlock the machine, and start operation.
6-4. Exiting Operation (Power OFF)

Press the
key.
Note
Power is cut off to the measuring unit and display when the
key is used to turn the power off, but
power will continue to flow to some circuits.
