4.4 Connecting Audio from Cable Box / Recorder / Game Console or TV
• This unit provides analog and digital audio connections. You can connect the audio output from an audio / video
device (e.g. DVD Recorder, VCR, Cable / Satellite Box, game console or TV) to this Blu-ray Disc™ Home Theater
System in order to enjoy its multi-channel surround sound capabilities.

• Use an audio cable to connect the AUDIO IN (AUX) jacks on the main unit to the audio output jacks on the
connected device.
• Use a digital audio coaxial cable to connect the DIGITAL AUDIO IN (COAXIAL) jack on the main unit to the
digital audio coaxial output jack on the connected device.

Note
• To listen to the audio output from these connections, select “Speakers” in “Audio Output” (refer to page 52) and
change the active source mode to the connected input. (Refer to “Switching Active Source Mode” on page 69.)

Connecting Portable Media Player
3.5mm stereo audio cable (not supplied)
Connect a 3.5mm stereo audio cable to the MP3 LINE-IN jack on this unit and the headphone jack on your
portable media player.
