With
TV Format
you can set various screen
formats.
The
View Mode
allows you to make various
adjustments to the image format on the TV.
You can select one of the following options:
Fill:
Scale up/down the image in horizontal and
vertical direction respectively to fill the screen
height and width.
Original
: Fit the original screen size. (Only for Divx
and MPEG).
Auto Fit
: Take the type value of horizontally fit
scale ratio and vertically fit scale ratio.
Pan & Scan
: Take the maximum value of
horizontally fit scale ratio and vertically fit scale
ratio.
With
TV Display
you can select between the
colour standards PAL, NTSC and Multisystem.
With
Video Output
you can select between the
outputs “S-Video”, “SCART”, “Component” and
“HDMI”. The composite output is active
independent of the setting.
You can adjust the brightness, contrast, hue and
colour saturation under
Smart Picture
. Three
settings are stored (standard, vivid and cool). You
can adjust your own settings under the "Custom"
menu.
If HDMI is selected as the video output, only the
brightness level can be changed.
VIDEO SETUP
Under the
SCART
option you can choose between
SCART video output in RGB or CVBS format
(provided SCART is selected as the video output)
Under the
Component
option you can choose
between component video output in interleased or
progressive format (provided Component is
selected as the video output).
With
HD Resolution
you can set the resolution of
the HDMI output. The following resolutions can be
selected:
(PAL / NTSC) 576/480 progressive
720 progressive
1080 interlaced
1080 progressive

resolution is optimal for your TV. Also observe the
operating instructions for the device.
