1 ON / STANDBY button
Switches the device on when it is in the
standby mode (LED lights up red). If the
LED does not illuminate, actuate the
power switch located on the rear of the
device. Conversely the device can be
switched from power operation to the
standby mode (LED lights up green).
2 ▲ EJECT button
Opens or closes the DVD/CD
compartment (8).
3 ►/II PLAY button
Starts or interrupts the media playback.
4 ■ STOP button
Stops the media playback.
Tuner: Switches between FM-Auto and
FM-Mono for FM stations.
5 I◄◄SEARCH button
CD/DVD: Jumps to previous title.
Tuner: With a short press, the station
frequency can be increased by 5 kHz for
manual tuning. A longer press starts the
station search.
6 ►►I SEARCH button
CD/DVD: Jumps to next title.
Tuner: Like point 5, but the search starts
forwards.
7 SOURCE switch
For the selection of the input source,
DISC, TUNER or external sources AUX
1, AUX 2, AUX 3, LINE, Digital Optical,
Digital Coaxial. It is indicated on the
display (13).
8 DVD VIDEO
DVD/CD compartment. Insert the
DVD/CD into the compartment with the
label facing upwards.
9 USB input
For connecting USB storage media.
10 VOLUME regulator
Adjusts the volume. The knob needs to
be turned through approximately two
revolutions to alternate between minimum
and maximum volume. The volume is
shown on the display (13).
(VOLUME 00 - VOLUME 40).
11 LINE IN
3.5 mm stereo input jack for an auxiliary
audio device (e.g. MP3 player, etc.).
12 PHONES
3.5 mm stereo output jack for
headphones. The speakers are
deactivated when this jack is used. Set
the volume to a low level when
connecting headphones.
13 Display
Displays the settings you have made.
14 Sensor for remote control
Please aim at this sensor when using the
remote control.
