Step 6: Transmitter Programming
Note: Transmitters are pre-programmed so there is no need to program the transmitters.
To program additional or replacement transmitters follow the instructions below.
Plug In the Power Harness
The siren will start sounding, the parking lights
will flash and the LED will begin flashing
Make Sure the Valet/Override Switch is in the
“Off” Position

Turn On Ignition
Switch the Valet Switch
On then Off 1 Time
The siren will stop sounding, the
parking lights will stop flashing
S t e p 4
Switch the Valet Switch
On then Off 2 Times
The siren will chirp 1 time. You are now in
the transmitter code programming mode.
The LED will be a solid RED.

(Code Hopping)
The LED will begin flashing slowly and the horn/siren will emit 1 short chirp. The code has now been learned.
Note 1: If you are coding a “Regular” transmitter go to Step 7.
Note 2: If you are coding a “Code Hopping” transmitter, skip steps 7 and 8 and go to step 9. No further coding procedures are necessary. Code
hopping transmitters learn all button functions when the “Lock” button is learned.
Note 3: You can not code “Regular”and “Code Hopping” transmitters to the same security system.
