3.8.6. Alternative Ceramic Box Installation
This appliance can be used with the Magiglo
Slimline, Standard or Deluxe Thermoboxes,
or any other fireplace inset that falls within
the dimensions given below. The Slimline
box must be fitted with a fireplace surround
of 50mm minimum thickness.
Any Thermobox or fireplace inset must be
secured to the hearth and sealed to the front
of the fireplace opening. The fire must then
be secured firmly to the base of the
Thermobox or fireplace inset.
Each model of Magiglo’s Thermobox is
supplied with full installation instructions and
these should be read thoroughly before
commencing installation.
Note:
Any fireplace surround
that is to be installed using this
appliance must be
manufactured from material that
is rated at a minimum of 150
0
C.
