4.2.2 Screw mounting
Using screws will damage the window and/or
door. For those living in rented accommodation,
this could lead to a landlord making claim for
compensation or holding back a tenant’s deposit.
For mounting the window / door contact with the sup-
plied screws, please proceed as follows:
• Mark the bore holes

on the window / door
frame
(see figure 8)

• If you are working with hard surfaces you should
pre-drill the holes marked using a 1.5 mm drill
(not necessary for soft surfaces).
• Place the electronic unit

to the desired
mounting location and turn both countersunk
head screws into the bore holes

Changing battery
If an empty battery is displayed via the app or the device
(„6.4 Error codes and flashing sequences“ on page 28),
replace the used battery by a new LR03/micro/AAA bat-
tery. You must observe the correct battery polarity.
To replace the battery of the window / door contact,
please proceed as follows:
• Pull the cap
