
Working with frames 315
To add frames to a specific place in the sequence:
1.
Select Add Frames from the Frames panel Options menu.
2.
Enter the number of frames to add.
3.
Select where to insert the frames: before the current frame, after it, or at the beginning or
end. Then click OK.
To make a copy of a frame:

Drag an existing frame to the New/Duplicate Frame button at the bottom of the Frames
panel.
To copy a selected frame and place it in a sequence:
1.
Select Duplicate Frame from the Frames panel Options menu.
2.
Enter the number of duplicates to create for the selected frame, select where the duplicate
frames are to be inserted, and click OK.
Duplicating a frame is useful when you want objects to reappear in another part of
the animation.
To reorder frames:

Drag the frames one by one to a new location in the list.
To delete the selected frame, do one of the following:
■
Click the Delete Frame button in the Frames panel.
■
Drag the frame to the Delete Frame button.
■
Select Delete Frame from the Frames panel Options menu.
Moving selected objects in the Frames panel
You can use the Frames panel to move objects to a different frame. Objects that appear in only
a single frame appear to vanish as the animation plays. You can move objects to make them
appear or disappear at different points in the movie.
To move a selected object to a different frame:

In the Frames panel, drag the selection indicator (the small blue square at the right of the
frame delay time) to the new frame.
