Preferred Method for Engaging T310M or T310MLR High Range Gear for Output
Shaft Driven Power Take-Off Operation

After positioning the vehicle for power take-off operation:

1 Shift the transmission to NEUTRAL.

2 Engage power take-off drive.

3 Move range selector to HI range.

4 Disengage engine clutch.

5 Select "tenth" gear (8 on the shift marker plate) for T310M or T310MLR.

6 Engage clutch when power take-off operation is desired.

CAUTION

When the truck is stationary, do NOT shift
into HI range and then start moving the
truck. Damage to the synchronizer may
result.
