Removing the R116 Cutterbar
WARNING
Exercise caution when working around the blades. Blades are sharp and can cause serious injury. Wear gloves when
handling blades.
CAUTION
The cutterbar weighs approximately 560 kg (1300 lb.). Use a suitable lifting device to support and move the cutterbar
into place.
1.
Using a suitable lifting device, support the cutterbar from the front of the header.

Remove nut and bolt (A) and allow skid shoe (B) to swing
away from the cutterbar. Repeat for the remaining skid
shoes and retain hardware for installation.

With the cutterbar supported, remove bolts (A), (B), (C),
and (D) that secure the cutterbar to the frame. Repeat at
opposite end of the cutterbar.
4.
Use the lifting device to slowly lower the cutterbar and
move it away from the header.
