conformity with safety regulations in the country of
installation. Special attention must be paid to legal
requirements, accident prevention, fire prevention
and regulations issued by the electricity company.
Place the appliance on a flat surface where it is
perfectly stable; fix the coffee hopper to the
adjustment nut using the supplied screw, to prevent
any moving parts being accessible when it is being
used. The screw must be put into the threaded hole
in the upper grinder support and the hole in the
coffee hopper (see fig. 2). Before connecting the
appliance to the electricity, check it is turned off
(switch on 0) and that the voltage and frequency
given on the serial plate corresponds with the
electrical standard available. The power socket must
be connected to an efficient ground bar that
conforms to current safety regulations in force.

Grinding regulation
To change the grinding coarseness, turn the regulation nut beneath the hopper. If the
nut is turned in a clockwise direction the beans are ground courser, or ground finer in
the opposite direction. If the coffee comes out of the machine slowly, it means that it is
too fine, but if it comes out too fast it is too coarse. Various factors have an effect on
the speed the coffee comes out, such as the amount of coffee, the pressing, the
regulation of the espresso machine, the cleanliness of the filters and the environment
