defects or deterioration that might compromise the original safety of the equipment. The standard
high pressure cleaner is not equipped to work in an environment in which particular inflammable or
explosive conditions are present; flameproof equipment is only supplied upon specific request.
It is forbidden to install the machine in conditions where there are inflammable products (caution is
required in environments with air-suspended particles: plastic materials, resins, acids, inks etc.)
Adhere to the regulations laid down by the fire brigade.
The diesel oil tank must only be filled with the machine disconnected from the electricity supply; it
is strictly forbidden to smoke or approach with a naked flame during refuelling.
The hot water high pressure cleaner have been tested to give clean, economical fuel burning which
does not harm the environment and is free of unburnt residues.
Nevertheless, exhaust gases (in particular CO) are harmful and lethal if inhaled to an excessive
extent.
When the machine is being operated in an enclosed area (garages, sheds etc.) an exhaust gas
extractor should be available as well as suitable ventilation for the recycling of the carburant air
supply and for reinstatement of the air supply.
The vent terminal must absolutely never be obstructed.
Do not lean objects or the lance itself in proximity to the exhaust outlet.
The exhaust outlet should be considered as dangerous both for exhaust gases and for its high
temperature. Inform operators appropriately in order to avoid burns. Never leave the machine in
unattended operation, particularly in the presence of children.
The use of extensions and plug extensions is forbidden.
The work environment is necessarily exposed to water and humidity that preclude the normal
conditions of insulation of the equipment.
Check the integrity and insulation of the electric cable as well as the operator’s equipment.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands or feet!
Avoid accidentally switching on the machine; position the switch at OFF before inserting and
withdrawing the plug form the socket. Do not pull the machine by electrical supply cable; do not
pull the cable in order to withdraw the plug.
Do not use the equipment if damage or deterioration to it has been noticed; disconnect the equipment
form the electricity supply and turn to an authorised servicing centre.
Chemical detergents must be used with care in order not to damage the machine components and
the environment (degradability of over 90%). Updated at D.LGs 25/02
Always check the degradability and harmfulness of products used.
Do not use paints, acids, solvents, oily or very thick liquids, etc.
Protect the machine from frost and atmospheric weather conditions in general.
Starting the machine off when cold may cause serious damage to the pump and circuit.
If the machine is not used for a long time and is kept at a temperature below 0°C (zero degrees
Celsius) this may cause damage or breakages to the pump and pipe work; it is advisable, therefore
to empty the machine completely.
Do not direct the water jet at persons or animals; nor at the machine itself nor, in any event, at any
object under tension of an electrical current.
Never direct the jet at yourself or at other people in order to clean clothing or footwear.
