920MHz Band Wireless Device (Korea) USERS MANUAL EM-9121 Rev. 1
7.1.4 NETWORK NAME
An identifier, called network name, can be given to a network so that child devices can connect to the correct parent device even
when several parent devices are installed adjacently.
Up to 16 English one-byte characters and some symbols (one-byte space, “-”, “_”, “.” and “@”) are usable.
Register a network name to all the parent and child devices.
A child device cannot connect to a parent device with a network name different from that set to the child device.
Using this network name, a PAN which is individually configured by each parent device can function as one network.
Set a network name as shown in the table below.

7.1.5 TRANSMITTER POWER OUTPUT
The radio wave reachable distance changes depending on the transmitter power output.
The transmitter power output is selected from 12.5 mW, 5 mW, 1 mW, and 0.16 mW.

7.1.6 RETRY TIMES BEFORE ROUTE SWITCHING
Select the number of times to retry transmission before switching the route when the communication through a route from a parent
device to repeaters or child devices (hereafter referred to as ‘downstream route’) fails.
Select the number of times from 1, 2, and 3 times.
When the retry times is set to 1, the switching time can be shortened and a route in better communication state is selected when a
communication error occurs.
However, there is a risk that a communication error due to just temporary fluctuation of radio wave can cause the route switching
and a communication route in good communication state may be switched.
Based on the above, 3 retry times is balanced well between switching frequency and communication reliability.
