Drying

: The heat gun can be used to dry out damp wood or other materials. Be vary 

careful when operating power tools near damp materials, the presence of water greatly 

increases the danger of electric shock. Always refer to the product manufacturer’s 

instructions if using the heat gun to dry plaster, paint, or other finishes. Do not use the 

heat gun on any flammable material, or any material that may produce hazardous fumes.

Stationary use

: This hot air gun can also be used statically, keeping hands free to 

manipulate the workpiece. The heat gun is designed to stand upright on a suitable 

workbench. The outlet nozzle should point straight upwards. The nozzle must not 

contact the workbench or any other object. Ensure that the power cord is well 

supported, and will not become caught as you work. Switch the heat gun on, and move 

the workpiece into the hot air flow. Take care to keep your hands and face away from 

the hot air.

Cleaning and maintenance

Always unplug the heat gun and let it cool down for at least 30 minutes before cleaning 

it. You can wash the outside of the heat gun with a soft moist piece of cloth. Avoid using 

any toxic or abrasive cleaning solvents. 

Safety information

This unit contains a non-toxic insulation material that will burn off during first use. It will 

produce a small amount of smoke, which is normal and not harmful. 
Never use the appliance if the power cord has been damaged in any way or does not 

work as intended. Repairing, such as disassembling and/or reassembling the appliance, 

is only allowed to skilled professionals. By repairing it yourself you will lose all 

warranties and there is a risk of electric shock and short circuit. The appliance is only to 

be used for household purposes.
Never obscure the inlet vents.
Keep the device away from flammable and explosive substances during use to avoid the 

risk of fire. Only grab the heat gun with the plastic handle. Make sure the power cable 

doesn't come in contact with the hot surfaces of the heat gun.
Do not use the heat gun during thunderstorms.
The product needs to be under constant supervision during use. Unplug the power cable 

after use and let the heat gun cool off for at least 30 minutes before storing it away.
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced 

physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless 

they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a 

person responsible for their safety. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do 

not play with the appliance.
