Accessories

The heat gun comes with 4 different accessories that can be used for different actions.

Removing paint

: Keep the nozzle at least 25 mm away from the surface. Be extra careful

when removing paint from window frames. Allow the paint to soften and remove using a

suitable scraper. Don’t overheat the paint, stop heating if it blackens or smoke appears.

Be careful to not let anything drop into the outlet nozzle.

Removing paint/varnish from windows

: Use the scraper nozzle (4), a spatula and brush

can also be of good use.

Pipe defrosting

: Use the reflector nozzle (1) and aim it at the frozen pipe. Move the heat

gun along the pipe evenly. Be careful so you don’t overheat the area behind the pipe. Do

not attempt to defrost PVC pipes as the heat may permanently damage the pipe.
