Principle drawings of pillar foundations
There are many ways to prepare the foundations. The foundations must be prepared according to the local
circumstances. It is a good idea to use an expert to help you to choose and plan your foundations. Here is shown the
principle of a light pillar foundation that is suitable for use with our lightweight yard buildings. The required number of
pillars and maximum support intervals can be found in the assembly instructions for each product and in the model-
specific pillar foundation drawing. The building should be attached to the foundations. The foundations of the building
must be frost-free and bearing. When laying the foundations, make sure that the foundations reach below the frost limit,
or alternatively use frost protection plates to prevent frosting. Frost depths vary by soil type and region. Check the local
average frost depth if such information is available.
