6.1 Operating modes
TH:
The instrument can be used
as a
thermohygrometer
when you
select the TH mode.
In this mode the temperature is
shown in the upper display and the humidity in the lower display.
The unit of temperature (°C, °F) is set in configuration area
Unit 1
in
this mode. °C is set at the factory. The units for humidity (% r.H., g/m
3
,
dp °C, dp °F) are set in configuration area
Unit 2
. % r.h. is set at the
factory.
An offset correction of temperature and humidity values can be made
in the configuration areas
CAL 1
and
CAL 2
.
IR:
The instrument can be used as
a
pyrometer
when you select the
IR mode. In this mode you can mea-
sure the temperature of surfaces
without contact.
The instrument
has been designed exclusively for interior pyrometric surface
temperature measurements.
The surface temperature is indicated in the upper display in this mode.
The corresponding HOLD, MAX, MIN or AVG value is indicated in the
lower display if one of these functions was selected in the upper menu.
