To assign a name to an extension:
1. Press
f 0 0 s s c
at extension
10 or 11.
2. Enter the number of the extension to be programmed. For example, to
program extension 12, press
1 2
.
3. Press left
i
. For extension 12, the display reads:
12 Enter Name
If a name was assigned previously to this extension, that name displays
instead.
4. Enter the two-digit code for each character you want to enter. (See Table
5-1 for codes.) For example, to enter the name Andy, press
21 62
31 93
. The display reads:
12 ANDY
5. If you make a mistake, you can press
!
to clear the display. Repeat
Step 4 to enter the correct name.
6. Program a button for this extension or exit programming mode.
