(2) Fuel tank
①
Using Fuel
z
Use ultra low sulfuric diesel.
z
If contaminants like water or dusts are mixed in
the fuel, it may cause a severe damage to the
engine. To fill the tank, the fuel storage facility
must be equipped as shown in the figure. If
possible, fill the tank at the gas station.
②
Using Diesel for winter
z
General diesel fuel tends to generate paraffin
dregs In winter time which may cause a bad
engine start. Thus, it is recommended to use
diesel for winter in winter time.
z
If the ambient temperature is below -15
°
C(5
℉
),
it is advised to mix diesel with kerosene as
shown on the right.
③
Checking Fuel level
z
Check the fuel gauge and if it’s not sufficient, fill the fuel tank with fuel.
z
Capacity : 45L (11.9 U.S.gals.)
▶
If the engine stops after finishing work, fill the tank fully.
As the temperature drops down, the humidity in the fuel tank is condensed and may
mix with the fuel.
Notice
(3) Instrument panel & Indicators
z
Check if instrument panel and its indicators are
normally turned on/off before starting engine or
while operating engine periodically.
z
Engine oil pressure indicator and battery charging
indicator shall be ON when turning the key switch
to ON position before starting engine, and these
indicators have to be OFF after starting engine.
z
If these indicators are turned on while the engine
is running. Stop the engine immediately and
check the engine lubrication system and battery
