(3) Clutch pedal (EZ-Shift)
This pedal is used to engage or disengage the
engine power for engine start, transmission shift
and stopping the vehicle.
If the main clutch control switch is pressed,
operating force of the clutch pedal shall be
reduced considerably. It’s not a fault.
If you press the clutch pedal during the operating
EZ-Shift shuttle lever, the automatic shift
process shall be ignored. You can operate the
EZ-Shift shuttle lever in the same way as the
mechanical shuttle system.

► Depress the clutch pedal quickly and fully, and release it slowly.
► When starting the engine, depress the clutch pedal fully. If not, the engine may not
start due to interlocking of the start safety switch for user’s safety.
► Do not ride your foot on the clutch pedal while driving. Long-lasted inching state of
the clutch may cause damage to the clutch disk.

(4) Adjustment of Clutch pedal
play (EZ-Shift)
Check the distance of clutch pedal play.
Normal distance : 20~30mm (0.79~1.18 in.)
if the pedal play is not normal, adjust it as below.
1. Loosen locking nut and turn the adjuster to the
clockwise or counter-clockwise.
2. If the adjuster is screwed, the pedal play shall

be decreased, and if adjuster is unscrewed, it
shall be increased.
3. After adjusting the pedal play, tighten the
locking nut.
4. Be sure to check if the clutch is disengaged
completely.

► After adjusting the clutch pedal play, you HAVE TO calibrate the EZ-Shift system.
The calibration must be complied with the instruction in this manual. If not, some
troubles, like as shock or noise may happen when shifting the transmission gear.
