T7450A User Manual

Paging Groups

1. Enter the number for the pager or the group.

• If only paging staff pagers and have the transmitter default set to Pager, enter the pager or group

number directly.

• If paging, default is set to Guest, press Staff before entering the pager or group number.

2. Enter the message to send.

3. Press Enter

Auto Shutoff POCSAG Pagers:

POCSAG pagers may be set to shutoff from the T7450A.  At the selected time Auto Shutoff sends out a sig-
nal to ALL POCSAG pagers.  For example, if you close at 11:30PM, the keypad can automatically send out a
signal at 12:30AM that will shutoff any pagers not already turned off.  To program Auto Shutoff:

1. Press SETUP.

2. Press MORE (F1) until asked for the authorization code.

3. Type 5-6-7-8-9.

4. Repeatedly press F1 until you see 1: Prg Auto Func. on the menu.

5. Press number 1.

6. Then Press 2 to select 2: Pgm Auto OFF.

7. The Screen will show if AUTO Shutoff is on or off

• Press F2 to turn the function OFF and the unit returns to the guest menu.

• Press F1 to turn the function ON.

8. If turning the function ON:

• Press F4 (Done).  The display asks for the time to start the function.

• Enter the time and press the ENTER key.

• Press F1 (AM) or F4 (PM) and the unit returns to the guest menu.
