2.2 Mechanical and Electrical Installation
2.2.1 Mechanical Installation
The Loop-V 4200 MuxMaster can be installed as a desktop unit or mounted in a 19 or 23-inch rack. Since all
plug-in cards are hot-swapable, the unit can be powered up and all cards (except the power card and LAN
card) can be plugged in or removed at any time without affecting the operation of the rest of the unit.
The front panel is shown in Figure 2-1, and the rear panel is shown in Figure 2-2.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Make sure each plug-in card is fully seated and lock-in screws
tightened. Permanent damage may result from a card left in the
partially seated position.
