Quick-Start Tips for All Machines
Make sure your input power connections are correct. See the wiring guides at
www.longevity-inc.com. You will want to referrer to the Longevity Wiring
Manual. Remember, some plasma cutters are dual voltage. Make sure you
determine the ground, which is the green wire with yellow inside.
Ensure that your air line is connected and that your air pressure setting is correct.
Pressure that is too high can blow out your arc. Pressure that is too low can burn
up your tips.
Ensure your work material has a clean contact point, and is well connected to the
ground clamp.
Ensure your electrical connections are tight.
If your machine is properly connected and fails to operate, have a technician
check for shipping damage or loose connections.
