WARNING!
Risk of serious injury.
The interlock safety switch must be installed
before the machine is put into operation.
Always turn off the machine from the
operator’s station before carrying out any work
on the sawhead.
WARNING!
Risk of burn injuries. The engine
and its muffler get very hot during operation
and remain hot a while after operation.
Allow the engine and the muffler to cool
before you perform any adjustments or
maintenance on the machine.
Fit the interlock-safety-switch hinge on
the side of the cover where no hinge
is yet fitted. Note that the power cord
should point towards the centre of the
engine shelf.
Connect the safety switch to the engine as in the
illustration. Connect point to the lower connector
on the engine. Then, secure point with the upper
bolt. This is how you check the safety function: Start
by opening the wheel guard. Turn the ignition key
from the operating position to start the engine. If
the engine does not start when turning the ignition
key, the installation is correct. If the engine starts
while the wheel guard is open, turn off the engine
from the operating position. Then, double-check the
connection and contact Logosol for support.
