Adding a SkypeOut Contact
SkypeOut allows you to make calls to traditional landline and mobile phones. To
use SkypeOut, you have to buy Skype Credit first. Skype Credit allows you to
purchase a number of different products and services from Skype. To purchase
Skype Credit, go to www.skype.com.
SkypeOut numbers (even local numbers) must be entered in the following format:
“00”+”country code” + “area code” + “number”. You can also use “+” or “011”
before the country code.
To add a new SkypeOut number to your Contacts, follow these steps:
1.
Press the Left Soft Key to select the menu and use the Navigation key to
scroll down and select “Add Contact.”
2.
From the Add Contact menu, select “SkypeOut Number” to set up a
SkypeOut name and number.
3.
Enter the contact's name, then press the Left Soft Key.
4.
Enter the contact's SkypeOut number, then press the Left Soft Key.
5.
The name is added to your Contacts.
