Service OSD
Beside the User—OSD there is an additional Service—OSD, in which settings and adjustments can be
made whichwill change the performace of the display, alternatively will show information which are helpful
for service. For this reason the access to this menu should only be familiar to suitablely educated persons.
To enter the service menu, first the user menu has to be opened (button ”menu” on your remote control),
afterwards you can enter the service menu by typing the code ”8640” on your remote control.
The following menu will appear (the values which are shown are only wildcards and will differ in most cases
from the effective values):
Here the download speed for an eventual software
update is set. If there are problems during an update. it
is recommended to reduce the speed.
In the internal memory of the AV—electronic logos of
different customers are archived. To avoid irritations,
this setting should not be changed.
This item defines the input source, which is activ when
the unit is started up. There are all input sources
available to chose from, additionally there is the
possibility of ”Last”. If this is chosen, the device will start
up autiomatically with the same source it has been in
when being switched off.
For service purpose (Pixelfault finding, check of Burn—
In effects) it is helpful to display a picture in Red, Green,
Blue or White. The selected mask is shown after leaving
the menu. When ÒInvertedÓ is selected, the actually
displayed image will be shown in inverted colors. This
function might be helpful to erase slight Burn—In effects
(the ”Burned—In” image must be available). Items,
which are not part of the above mentioned table, can
be set via the following sub—menus:
