4.5. Electrical connections
“Personal safety – unit integrity”
To prevent injuries to persons or damage to things, the unit electrical connection must be
done by qualified electricians in compliance with safety procedures.
Before doing the electrical wiring, make sure the line is not powered and cannot be turned
on by external personnel
The unit is equipped with an equipotential protection circuit in compliance with standard EN 60204-1.
In order to have an effective protection system against indirect contacts, the power line must be outfitted with
a circuit breaker that will automatically interrupt power in the event of an insulation failure, in compliance with
the regulations 413.1 of standard IEC 364-4-41.
Unless otherwise indicated on the identification plate, the electrical wiring must be done with cables (with adequate
section and characteristics in compliance with the location).
The cabin comes complete with one of the following IEC 309 plugs according to the power mains:
•
3P +PE
•
P+N+PE
4.5.1 Rotation control for the version with three-phase motor
After connecting the power cable, check the motor rotation direction on three-phase versions. Proceed as follows for
this check:
-
Press the start button located on the breaker (Figure 6)
-
Place one foot below the proximity sensor (Figure 6)
-
Press the start/stop button twice in a tow and make sure impeller rotation (clockwise rotation extraction side)
matches the direction of the arrow located at air inlet (fig 11 f).
-
If the arrow and the direction of the impeller rotation do not match,
after having sectioned the power line
,
invert the two-phase power supply connection.
-
Restart the unit and check that the rotation direction matches the arrow.
