• NEVER cool the glass lid with cold water, as the
temperature shock can damage it.
WORKING WITH THE LIVINGTON BLACK TWINPAN
Attaching the handle to the glass lid (Figure 2):
Attach the handle to the glass lid using a
screwdriver. Make sure that you do not use too much
force, otherwise you may damage the glass lid. If
the handle loosens over time, re-tighten the screw
using a screwdriver.
Warning:
The glass lid is not oven-proof.
Your Livington Black TwinPan is suitable for all
stove types.
Frying and cooking
Your Livington Black TwinPan has two specially
designed cooking zones: A grill zone with grill strips
for searing meat or fish, and a cooking and roasting
zone for roasting vegetables, eggs etc.
1. Slightly warm up the Livington Black TwinPan and
add fat (according to preference).
The pan is also
ideal for „fat-free“ cooking and frying.
2. Select the required cooking temperature. Once
the fat is evenly spread, an optimal cooking
temperature has been reached.
3. Introduce the food to be fried or cooked to the
respective zone and reduce the temperature.
4. Initially, the fried food (e.g. meat) will stick, and
will then loosen itself after a few seconds; only
stir after this.
Tips:
• For even better cooking results, add a few drops
of cooking oil to both cooking zones once slightly
heated, and rub in the oil with a paper towel.
• Use the lid during food preparation whenever
possible! This will save time and energy!
Removing the handle (Figure 3):
Press the open button on the pan handle. Pull the
grip from the pan. To reattach it, place the handle
back on the pan, and press the lock button down.
Oven:
Simply place the pan in the oven and remove the
handle. Your Livington Black TwinPan is oven-safe
to a temperature of 230 degrees.
Care & cleaning tips
• Always allow the Livington Black TwinPan to cool
down completely before cleaning.
• Never use abrasive cleaning agents, cleaning
cloths or steel wool for cleaning. These may
damage the coating.
• Never allow cooking residues to dry on! This
makes cleaning easier!
• If any cooking residue is encrusted: soak in hot
water for a period of time, and clean using a
gentle detergent.
• Dry the pan immediately, so that no limescale
develops.
• To ensure the longevity of the coating, we
recommend that you use kitchen aids made of
wood or plastic.
• Your Livington Black TwinPan is also dishwasher
safe.
