44 Grinding machine SBM-XS 300 G1E1 ALU MIX
7.4 Cleaning
The machine must be cleaned after every shift, at least once per day, and
material residues removed.
WARNING
Accidental starting of the grinding motors during cleaning
Severe injuries due to rotating abrasive belts / grinding belts

Disconnect electrical power to the machine; turn off main switch.

Only entrust the work to authorised personnel.
CAUTION!
Danger of becoming ill from grinding dust during cleaning
Inhaling grinding dust can lead to serious health risks.

Wear a respiratory mask during cleaning.

Grinding dust and material residue must be disposed of in accordance with
applicable country-specific law.

Turn off the main switch.

Open the side doors of the grinding machine.

The grinding dust may not come into contact with ignition sources.
At the bottom of the machine there are catch boxes (1) for grinding dust and
material residue, which can be removed for emptying.

Vacuum out grinding dust and material residue with an explosion protected
industrial vacuum.

Remove and empty catch boxes (1) for grinding dust and material residue.

Close door again.
