An additional 84 ms of delay must be added to each LPCM pair to keep the LPCM audio
output in sync with the picture. See Figure 4-18 below.

Note that each Instance has independent LPCM and Dolby encoded output delays.
A waveform monitor that compares the timing of an SDI source to the facility sync signal should
be used to accurately match the AERO video outpu to houe sync.

Dolby Digital Plus encoding, which encludes Dolby Digital (AC3) encoding, and Dolby E decoding
can be added to each AMX instance as an option.

Configuration for the Dolby Encoder is done here. The first drop down (top right) shows:
Codec: Dolby Digital (AC3)
The data rate for Dolby encoded 5.1 and 2.0 outputs are selectable as are metadata
preferences for the Dolby Digital decoders in the receivers. Please note that not all receivers
use the encoded metadata preferences.
