If Instance 2 is a stereo Instance then the selections are:

The Dolby encoder source is always the audio processed in DRC 1 of an Instance.
To setup the AES outputs as described above:
Select
Output Routing > AES/SDI Outputs > AES Outputs
AES out 1/2: Instance 1 DD+ Out
AES out 3/4; Instance 1 Processed 9/10
AES out 5/6 through 15/16 are all Off.
Handling single channel sources on 1/2 of an digital audio pair is a standard feature of the
AERO.100. See section 8.1.
Creating a full time downmix of the DRC 1 output is also a standard feature of AERO.100. See
section 8.2.

The AERO.100 can be referenced to:

AES DARS (or any AES signal applied to the Ref In connector)
•
AES In 1
•
SDI
•
Internal 48 kHz (standalone use only).

Video Ref (starting with version 3.15.26)
If SDI embedding is not used then a sync reference source must be chosen.
