Activate preset
This function is active only if the
ENCODER
CONFIGURATION
box is set to ENABLED.
Press this button to activate the preset function. The preset value (it is set next
to the
item above) will be set for the position of the encoder in the
moment when the preset value is activated. To activate the preset, stop the
encoder in the desired position and then press this
chosen physical position will get the value set next to the

This box is designed to show the error messages which could be triggered while
programming the encoder.
Hereafter are the available error messages.
Encoder travel not valid: counts to be displayed greater than physical
resolution between start and stop
When you program the encoder using the START / STOP mode (see
Programming mode: Start / Stop (single ramp)
mode: Start / Stop (cyclic ramp)
on page 44), if the travel exceeds the
maximum encoder resolution as set by the operator, then this error message is
displayed.
Encoder travel not valid: unable to reach the minimum stroke
When you program the encoder using the START / STOP mode (see
Programming mode: Start / Stop (single ramp)

on page 44), if the start position (
