7.12 Maintenance work on the trolleys
The checks and maintenance work on the electric trolleys and push trolleys have to be done in
accordance with Table 8.
7.12.1 Construction of the brake of the electric trolley
Type BFK
The brake type BFK operates absolutely maintenance free.

Caution!
If the brake linings are worn so that the air gap is about 0.9 mm it is necessary to adjust
the gap.
Readjustment of the brake type EFB:
1. Dismantle the fan cover (1).
2. Loosen the fan screws (2).
3. Remove the rubber gasket (3) and put a thickness gauge 0.25 mm between the plate (4) and the
sticking plate (5).
4. Tighten the screw (6) so far that you can remove the thickness gauge easily.
5. Tighten the fan screws (2) symmetrically. Tighten first the screws opposite the key (torque 4-5.5 Nm).
6. Tighten the screw (6) again.
7. Remove the thickness gauge.
8. Assemble the fan cover (1).
9. Watch the test run of the trolley.
